Urchin Web Traffic Analyser

Urchin is a great tool for determining how well your internet strategy is working. To use it, go to http://www.proboscidian.com:9876/ and log in with the username and password you have been given (if you do not know your username and password, contact us).

On the page that opens, click on your domain name to open a new window with your statistics.

A new window will open. To the left are areas where you can select which reports you want to see, and for what date range.

Some of the useful screens include the sessions graph, which tells you how many visitors your site has, and the referrals graph, which tells you how your visitors found your website. Note that you can save any screen in word, excel or plain text from the bar at the upper right.
